Creating a filter for students in a specified period


1. Expand Ad Hoc Reporting


2. Click Filter Designer.


3. Choose Create a new Filter using the Query Wizard.


4. Choose Student for the Filter Data Type.


5. Click Next.



6. Name the filter.



7. Expand Student/Demographics. From Demographics click lastName, firstName, grade



8. Expand Learner, expand Schedule, and expand Course/Section. From Course/Section click courseName, teacherDisplay and roomName.


9. Expand Section Schedule. From Section Schedule click termStart, termEnd, periodStart, periodEnd.


10. Verify they are in the Selected Fields.


11. Click Next.


12. Enter the period start and period end parameters. Note: In this example it is for students in third period.


13. Save and test filter.
