When the netbook is hooked up to a Promethean Activboard the netbook freezes.
That's a problem with the latest version of activinspire. Their linux version get's frozen whenever it's connected to the latest model of Promethean boards. They are working on a solution but don't have one yet. A temporary solution would be to have a shared dropbox folder that students can copy and paste their file into before walking up to the board and using your computer. It's not a perfect solution... but it's actually faster than unhooking and rehooking cables.
I need a trouble-shooting ticket for students.
