Join us for the Department of Instructional Technology 2011-2012 Technology Summit.  The Summit will be held on September 14th and 16th from 7:30 am - 3:30 pm 15701 E. 1^st Ave. ESC 1,  Suite 113 in Lab 1 and 2.

The focus of the summit is to provide instruction and support for Aurora Public Schools Technology Facilitators, Managers, Educational Assistants & Media Specialist. 

Our theme for the Instructional Technology Summit 2012 is "Expanding Horizons." With this mantra we’ll continue our goal of providing professional development learning opportunities to help infuse technology solutions into education.

Our summit will provide myriad opportunities for you to explore and expand your professional learning and job expertise. Whether you are a teacher, tech facilitator/manager, educational assistant, or media specialist, you'll find one hour formal sessions, informal mini sessions, and networking opportunities to help you achieve your ed tech goals while expanding your technical expertise, knowledge and expanding your own horizons. The majority of the sessions will be hands-on exploration of hardware, software or resources via lab computers, or participants' own laptops or devices.

Once you have registered and confirmed your space you will receive an email including a form to select session topics you wish to attend.  Also, please review the substitute information carefully before registering.

Substitute information

Instructional Technology will pay for a full day substitute for one participant per site. You must get prior approval from your principal before submitting for your substitute via ASEOP. You will receive a Code once registered.

Approval of absence must be obtained from your principal.
